ClickUp VibeUp is Coming: Build Custom Mini-Apps With Plain English

Authors

Most ClickUp workspaces are almost perfect.

You’ve got tasks, docs, dashboards, automations… but there’s always that one thing missing. A proper client approval flow. A simple budget tracker that doesn’t need another tool. A custom dashboard your team actually understands.

Right now you’re probably gluing things together with Zapier, extra docs, or workarounds that break every few months.

ClickUp is about to fix that.

What is VibeUp?

VibeUp is ClickUp’s upcoming feature that lets you build custom mini-apps inside ClickUp using natural language.

You type something like: “Build me a client approval workflow with a clean dashboard, status updates, and automatic notifications”

…and it creates a tailored front-end on top of your existing ClickUp data.

No coding. No external tools. No more “ClickUp is great but we need this one extra thing.”

It’s powered by their AI (including the Codegen tech they brought in) and sits alongside Brain and the new Agents. Think of it as the feature that finally makes ClickUp feel complete for small agencies and service businesses.

Why This Matters for Small Teams Like Yours

I work with digital and creative service businesses every week. The pattern is always the same:

  • You outgrow the basic setup you built when you had 4 clients.
  • You start bolting on other tools (Google Sheets for this, Airtable for that, a random dashboard app for the other).
  • Suddenly you’re the only one who knows how everything connects.

VibeUp looks like it will let you close those gaps without adding complexity or extra subscriptions.

Examples I’m excited about:

  • A clean client portal view that shows progress without giving them full workspace access
  • Simple budget trackers that pull from time entries and invoices
  • Industry-specific approval flows (creative, lead gen, coaching — whatever your niche)
  • Dashboards that non-ClickUp-power-users will actually use

It’s the “one tool to rule them all” promise getting closer to reality.

It’s Not Out Yet — But You Can Get Ahead

As of May 2026, VibeUp is still marked as “Coming Soon” on ClickUp’s roadmap. There are no public screenshots or live demos available yet.

VibeUp Coming Soon

This is exactly why I’m covering it early. Most of the bigger ClickUp implementation companies haven’t written much about it yet, so right now there’s very little practical information available for small businesses and solo operators like you.

I’ll be testing VibeUp the day it lands and sharing real examples from client workspaces here on the blog, including what actually works for smaller teams (not just enterprise setups).

What You Should Do Now

  1. Make sure your ClickUp workspace is clean and well-structured (this is where most of the value from VibeUp will come from).
  2. Start thinking about the “missing pieces” in your current setup.
  3. Keep an eye on ClickUp’s roadmap.

If your workspace is already feeling stretched or you’re forcing workarounds, now is a great time to get it sorted before VibeUp arrives. A solid foundation will make the new feature 10x more powerful.
